Arco - Northern Italy's top climbing area and climbing garden await you between Torbole, Trento and Tione

Just a few kilometres north of Riva in the wide Sarca Valley lies the town of Arco. In the last years it is become an internationally known rock climbing paradise, known especially for its imposing sheer cliffs and modern climbing park.
Every year in September, Arco hosts the Free Climbing World Championship "Rock Masters."

Arco and the surrounding area have the perfect terrain for year-round climbing, whether sport or Alpine climbing. On Colodri, the highest mountain in Arco, and in about a 15km long section of the Sarca Valley there is a row of perfect cliff walls, one right after the other. Each of these walls has its own character, and together they offer countless possibilities for classical and modern routes in all diffculty levels.
